Have you heard of Blackburn Point? Located just south of Sarasota in Osprey, FL is a beautiful quaint community that is home to a park that we just love. As avid kayakers, we love exploring our community and bringing you the best areas to get on the water. This park has been a local favorite boating and yak-ing spot for quite some time, but there are new amenities that are making this the place to be in Sarasota County & we cannot wait to tell you more about it.

There are three distinct areas when you come to enjoy the park. The west and central node’s are home to kayak launches which have been recently updated and are paved- always a kayaking plus! The ease and beauty of the new facility is just one of the many reasons why we love it. In addition to these new launches, the park is home to new bathrooms and park picnic areas. There are places to eat, fish, and play. What more do you need?
